JANUS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR WINDOWS

1. Download and double click on the 'install_Janus_5.5' installation file to install
2. Accept the terms of the license agreement.
3. Install Janus to the default folder.
4. When prompted, allow the app to make changes to your device, by clicking yes.
5. When installation is complete, click 'try Janus 5' for the Janus5 7-day trial.

NOW OPEN THE JANUS 5 SOFTWARE FROM YOUR DESKTOP THEN...
-------------------------------------------------------

1. In the top left corner hit 'File > NewChart
2. This opens up the Birth Data pop-up and under the words 'Data Entry'
enter your Name, Date and Time of Birth, Country or State of birth and City.
You may get a pop-up on the left prompting you to highlight your City of birth.
If so, highlight the city and click 'Get City'at the bottom to confirm your selection.

3. Under 'House System' drop down menu, select 'Whole Sign'.
4. Under 'Zodiac' drop down, select 'Krishnamurti'.
5. Leave everything else as is, the click 'Cast Chart' at the bottom.
This will return you to the main app page and display your birth chart.

FINAL TWEAKS TO GET THE CHART VIEW WE NEED
-------------------------------------------------------

1. Goto top left corner and hit File > Page Gallery Chart - this will access the Page Gallery.
2. On the page gallery menu hit Select > Planets. A planet selection window will pop-up.
Check 'Chiron', and then Uncheck 'Part of Fortune' and 'Imum Coeli' and hit 'Ok'
3. Go back to the page gallery menu, this time hit 'Settings'
4. The 'aspect line' tab will pop-up and show 'Aspect Selection.'Check 'Quincunx'
5. Under the Aspect Selection section, you'll see Planet Selection. Ensure 'Chiron' and 'Descendant' are checked.
6. On the right, set 'Limit Max Orb' to 8 00'
7. Finally, select the 'Aspects' tab and under the 'Aspects to Planets' section, check 'Quincunx'
8. Hit ok at the bottom

PRINT IMAGE

1. On the Page Gallery menu, hit the printer Icon
2. The 'print page gallery options' will pop-up.
3. Select 'Print' and this will print your Page Gallery image.

Doing this final step will initlally make things easier to navigate during the workshop
as your computer screen won't get so cluttered.

I also suggest getting together a folder to keep all the printed documents you'll need 
for this workshop together as you will be going back and forth between documents.
